the dining room

The dining room at Thornton's enjoys wonderful views of St Stephen's Green. Warm and inviting the room is modern and stylish having been refurbished by the renowned New York based 1100 Architects. Kevin's skill as a photographer is evident from the huge framed pieces taken from his book - Food for Life that adorn the walls. These photographs provide an evocative backdrop to the exquisite array of dishes on offer. Choose from a selection of menus; perhaps an 8 course surprise menu devised for each table by Kevin or from our a la carte menu opt for firm favourites with our guests - our classic dishes. Hugely popular is our tasting menu - a tantalising selection of 14 different courses of which 5, 8 or all 14 can be enjoyed. Lunch menus at Thornton's start from €45.

Open Tuesday to Saturday from 6pm to 10:30pm and for lunch from Thursday through Saturday from 12 noon to 2pm. Pre-theatre menu available Tuesday through Saturday 5.30pm - 7pm.
